Clean Maritime Research Partnership
This partnership, consisting of stakeholders across the maritime sector is responsible for horizon scanning and continually refreshing the research landscape to help shape the activities of the UK-MaRes Hub.
Co-creating the Research Agenda
The Clean Maritime Research Partnership is an integral part of the UK-MaRes Hub programme as it was formed to bridge the gap between the academic research community and maritime stakeholders, with a view to co-creating a greener future for the sector.
The aim of the Partnership is to facilitate knowledge exchange, foster collaboration, and map the current landscape to identify the research needed to accelerate the decarbonisation efforts in the maritime industry, and understand how best the academic community can support this.
So far, via a series of workshops, the Partnership has met to explore:
- The high-level challenges faced across the sector.
- The unique role of ports in the decarbonisation of the maritime ecosystem.
- The role of digitalisation on the decarbonisation of the sector.
